The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. For through wisdom your days will be many, and years will be added to your life.

Father, give me a proper fear and reverence for You. Help me to know You more that I might make You known more to those who have yet to meet You. My life is but a vapor in the grand scheme of things, so help me to use my time in a manner that brings glory to You and benefits others around me. Help me to treasure faith, hope and love and worry less about material things that will fade away with time. Make my life a “love note” from You to your people, that they may see You and glorify You with their own lives. Amen.
